I have been looking at Urns the past couple of years since my beloved dog passed away at a young age. I recently found the perfect urn on Amazon for him, it is beautiful.When I spotted this beautiful peaceful Urn on Amazon, I knew it was for me. I love the blue floral arrangement with the bird decoration on it. To me it gives light, instead of the dark urns I usually see. I think the brightness is just what I'm looking for, I want something that looks happy, not gloomy and I know it will look beautiful on display and not necessarily read Urn.It is well made from solid handcrafted metal for lasting safekeeping, although it doesn't look like metal. I thought it was ceramic with a metal liner inside, it is that beautiful.From researching urns I can tell you that the price is the lowest I have found. I definitely recommend this lovely urn. Amazon has a variety of reasonably priced beautiful urns to choose from.

I did not know an Urn could be so beautiful. I love that the imagery has a spiritual significance. The Blue Jay signifies loyalty, wisdom, intuition, and strength of character. I believe birds in general represent freedom. I think the flowers are blue forget-me-nots. And they are just so lovely. They signify faithful love and lasting memories. The color is also calming. It has a nice velvet material underneath to keep it from scratching the surface it sits on. It has a nice weight, height, and width. It seems to be made of ceramic and should be quite sturdy and durable, especially when filled. This is the perfect urn for a mother, sister or someone who is very special.

The photos exaggerate the size a bit, but it is still quite large. I actually bought this more as a decor piece rather than an actual ash urn… It seals up well, the lid is a screw top that seems to be air tight when tightened all the way. So, it definitely offers a secure and beautiful place to store your loved ones ashes as advertised. Very pretty painted look. The blue is a beautiful royal blue hue.

This is a nice big urn but not quite as big as the listing image of a woman holding the urn near her stomach would suggest, I think their image department got the sizing off there, assuming she is not a miniature woman. I wasn't sure when I ordered this how it would look since it was made of metal yet was white but whatever they did seems to work well. There is some kind of finish over the metal that makes it not seem like metal on casual glance. In fact it looked better than I expected when I got it. This is a heavy beefy urn and seems very sturdy. The bottom has that velvet padding stuff nicely applied to protect surfaces.The weak point is probably the paint, looks like it could scratch if you are not careful but the design was applied decently. The colors and pattern and in fact everything was accurately described in the listing (other than that one off size photo) and it is overall of good quality. The inside is also finished decently. You can see a line inside where the two halves of urn were put together but it's not overly glaring and the rest is just a dark kind of smooth finish, no serious ugly spots present. Often the insides of these urns are terribly scruffy with poor finish work so that is something I always check. This one was better than average.However there is one thing I will complain about. The underside of the lid was poorly painted with some skip spots, which was disappointing aesthetics. Maybe I'm just being picky but even though an area is out of sight most of the time, I like to see decent finish work in those places. However, the lid does screw on and off easily and work well from a functional perspective.The urn came in a nicer than normal cardboard box with nice printing on it, which I liked. Normally I don't care about the box but for memorial items, I feel that extra care is warranted. In the same vein, the urn arrived inside a soft velvety black bag that was nice quality and felt surprisingly soft. The bag helps elegantly protect the urn in shipping while also is useful for holding ashes if needed. Overall the whole presentation was respectful and I appreciated the effort put in on those details which I feel are very appropriate here. Due to the extra efforts in other areas and also because it's getting common to see defects inside urns, I did not take off a star for the skip spots under the lid but I do hope they put more effort into that in the future.Overall I'd say this is a good and sturdy urn that will hold a lot and at the current price $90 for a full sized urn of this type of construction, this price is very reasonable and is a decent value.

I don't know what makes a good urn, to be honest. I'm assuming there's some criteria, but just based on what's important to me as someone who has never owned one but now does. My mom is heck-bent on having all of her ducks in a row before her...uh...demise (she's perfectly healthy). She even prepaid for her cremation. So I thought picking this up in advance would ease some of her anxiety.This urn is very pretty. It may not go with everyone's decor but it works in my more eclectic house. I love blue birds. It's pretty heavy and feels substantial - I can't imagine breaking this thing easily. The lid screws on nicely and the whole thing is quite smooth. It came in a velvety bag in a nice cardboard box.I did knock one star off because there is a dark spot or smear on the lid. I've tried gently cleaning it off, but I'm pretty sure it's permanent. It doesn't impact usability at all, but it's there. It won't stop us from using it, but something like this may bother others. However, it appears the company has a guarantee, so I'd purchase it again if I very unfortunately found myself in need of another urn.

Very very cute urn. I know it’s supposed to be a “cardinal” but my grandmother had a very funny love/hate relationship with blue jays in her yard, and this totally passes for a blue jay also. The small size is not large enough for all of her ashes, obviously, but it’s perfect for keeping some of them for myself and distributing the rest to other family members. The metal quality is great and I trust the seal.
